The IOGP Subsea Committee in late 2021 kicked-off a new work stream specifically focused on subsea CCS. The key aim of their work has been the development of a new IOGP guidance document on subsea CCS developments. This presentation will start with an overview of the IOGP subsea committee’s remit and the intent behind the new guidance document. It will then move on to look at its structure and content in some detail. A number of potential “use-cases” for the new subsea CCS guidance document relevant to STEM attendees will also be presented.
