Subsea processing offers several significant benefits in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in offshore oil and gas production. This presentation will discuss the benefits, which include allowing for the separation of hydrocarbons, water, and other impurities directly at the seabed, reducing the need for topside processing facilities. This minimizes the energy-intensive transport of untreated fluids to the surface, resulting in lower GHG emissions.
